Today, 25 September 2010, is the 200th anniversary of the city of Bandung. A lot events are currently taking place in the city to celebrate the auspicious day. Instead of reporting those events, however, today I'd like to take you back in time to see what life in the city was like in the old days with these three select videos. The first and second one are movies comparing the old Bandung and the city in 2008 (they have a nice music and song in Dutch). These videos are coutesy of mybandoeng at YouTube. The third video is a silent movie depicting a fragment of life in the city in the early 20th century, courtesy of allbandung.com at YouTube.
